SAVANNAH, Ga. — Memorial Health will have a permanent reminder of their COVID-19 experience.

Thursday afternoon, the hospital unveiled two pieces of artwork that will be on permanent display in the café area near the main lobby.

The artwork was the final product created by local artist Tiffani Taylor, after health care workers at Memorial posted whatever messages of inspiration and hope they wanted to on two pieces of canvas that were set up in the café area back in March at the onset of the pandemic.

“It’s such an honor to lend the gift that god has given me to honor our front-line heroes, the health care workers at memorial hospital." said Tiffani Taylor. "It was very, very moving to read the words of hope that they expressed. This is very much a time capsule of this moment in history.”

The workers at Memorial Health had a 48-hour period to express themselves and write messages on the canvas.
